Thank You 2018 Summer Interns!

This past summer, Sweet Water Foundation welcomed a host of summer interns both new and returning, from high schools and colleges across the country. The Summer 2018 intern cohort of 9 worked together to build, create, and grow. Each intern crafting an individualized experience to develop themselves and support Sweet Water Foundation’s practice of Regenerative Neighborhood Development.

  • Natalie Zepeda, a rising fifth year student at Illinois Institute of Technology studying Architecture.

  • Yash Kumbhat, a rising sophomore at Harvard University studying Political Science and English.

  • Maurice Hursey, a rising junior at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, from Chicago studying Landscape Architecture joined SWF for his 3rd consecutive summer.

  • Michael McClain, a rising junior at Alabama A&M University, from Chicago majoring in Construction Management joined SWF for his 3rd consecutive summer.

  • Quory Watkins, a rising junior at Alcorn State University from Chicago majoring in Plant and Soil Science joined SWF for his 3rd consecutive summer.
