Welcome to the inaugural issue of Sweet Water Foundation's newsletter. Each issue will share stories that bring to life our work, which we refer to as Regenerative Placemaking. Through the practice of regenerative placemaking, Sweet Water Foundation creates safe and inspiring spaces that cultivate healthy, intergenerational communities and transform the ecology of once-blighted neighborhoods. Our work is centered at the Perry Ave Commons, a community at the nexus of the Englewood and Washington Park neighborhoods on Chicago's South side.
We are doing good, creating change, and leading the Radical Reconstructionof an inclusive and sustainable way of urban living. We hope you'll join us.
Read on to learn more about our practice and how you can get involved by visiting, volunteering and/or supporting Sweet Water Foundation.
