Spinach Salad
It's salad season! All the greens needed for a salad are growing in abundance at The Commons - with various types of lettuce, spinach, and kale overflowing the Community Garden Beds. Spinach is the perfect addition to any salad! Packed with nutrients, spinach can be eaten raw or cooked. Try adding it to scrambled eggs for a pop of color and flavor or blend raw spinach into a green smoothie for a delicious snack. Spinach is a cool weather crop, so be sure to stop by The Commons to pick some up before the weather turns too hot. This month, we invite you to try out this Spinach Salad recipe by Lena Abraham from delish. This salad is the perfect option for a light and flavorful spring meal.
